Hi! My name is Jennifer. I’m getting ready for graduation & can’t wait to have my own classroom!!! I love teaching especially elementary school! I have a solid relationship with words, I love the sun on my face, natural hair and all things beautiful. Anything else, please don’t hesitate to ask!!! :-)
Now to the most IMPORTANT thing to me ;-)
I love God more than ANYTHING else and am striving to live my life for Him. I mess up daily, I’m far from perfect, but the AMAZING thing about God is that He doesn’t expect us to be perfect, just perfectly COMMITTED :-) I made Jesus Lord of my life on January 24, 2010. It was the BEST decision I’ve ever made! I grew up in the church and believed I was saved because I’d always been in church. But the Bible wasn’t my STANDARD. I claimed Christ, but my life didn’t reflect my proclaimed love for Him (1 Tim. 4:16). I’d been seeking after God for a while (sometimes more earnestly than other times), but my junior year of college, I was desperate for something more. Things at home were falling apart, I was dealing with pressure from school, heartbreak (such a girl right? lol). But then I read God’s promise in Jeremiah 29:11-13 && it became SO REAL to me :)

I studied the Bible with women at my church, so I could make a decision to follow Christ knowledgeably. The thing I loved about my studies is that I was ENCOURAGED to study the Scriptures for myself and not take people’s word for it… I was encouraged by the example of the Bereans (Acts 17:10-12).
After seeing what God requires of those who want to follow Him (Luke 14:25-33 and Acts 2:38), I decided I wanted to stop having crushes on Jesus & commit to Him heart & soul.
Is being a disciple of Christ easy? Pshh! Not at all lol but is it worth it? WITHOUT A DOUBT!!! I’m soooooo much happier now and the beautiful thing is that God doesn’t expect me to do this alone. (Philippians 4:13 I can do ALL things through CHRIST who STRENGTHENS me) ❤❤❤
